Brantley Joseph Hall

Brantley Joseph Hall, the young child of Kurt and Michele (Speer) Hall, and little brother to Kellan, passed away unexpectedly the morning of December 19, 2016; a few days shy of turning 3 years old.

Brantley was born in Akron, OH on December 23, 2013.

Brantley spent hours playing with his cars, dinosaurs, sharks, legos, and remote control Batbot. You would always find Brantley playing on his iPad, laughing to the Minions, smiling at Blues Clues, and playing DJ to his favorite songs. He loved dancing around the house with his family and dressing up as superheros, but most of all he played ghostbusters with his brother daily. He also loved reading books, making his superhero toys battle, and splashing in the bathtub. He spent many, many hours snuggling with his mommy and wrestling with his daddy. Brantley's hero was always his big brother. From the very first day he came home from the hospital, he would follow him wherever he would go. It was hard not to fall in love with Brantley the second that you met him because he waved to everyone that he saw and hugged them or blew a kiss when he would leave.

Brantley's big smile could melt the hearts of those around him; and though he only
spoke a few words, his thoughts could always be heard. He possessed strength,
perseverance, and an ability to overcome incredible odds and challenges. With his
courage for life he led us to believe that each day is a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories.

He is celebrated by maternal grandparents David and Linda Speer, and paternal grandparents Monte and Lorri Hall, great grandmothers Ruth Speer and Janet Fantozz, Uncle Mike and Zia Cristina Speer, Uncle Mark and Aunt Jamie Speer, Uncle Doug and Aunt Traci Nash, Uncle Monte Hall Jr., and cousins, Rocco, Gino, Hugh, Shelby, Tanner, Reed, Mason, and Brittany. He also leaves behind his loving team of nurses, doctors, and therapists.

He is preceded in death by his Uncle Brad Hayes and paternal grandmother Peggy Fresch who are both holding him tightly in heaven.

Brantley reminded us with every passing day that miracles do happen, and that the little things in life are never to be taken for granted. Although we will miss him every day, he will remain in our hearts forever. Through his desire to love life, he changed us in so many ways. We are so grateful to have been chosen to be his family and to be able to hold him dearly for the time that we could.

A private ceremony for the family was held at Pfeil Funeral Home in Sandusky. In lieu of gifts and flowers, donations can be made to the "Brantley Hall Memorial Fund" at any Civista Bank location or by mailing to: Civista Bank, 2100 E. Perkins Avenue, Sandusky, Ohio 44870.

Condolences may be shared with the family at pfeilfuneralhome.com.
