Mary Ann Didion

Mary Ann Didion, 65, residing in Huron, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, Friday, December 23, 2016 at Firelands Regional Medical Center.

Mary Ann was born on December 16, 1951 in Manhattan, New York to Pasquale and Jean (Sannicandro) Ferrante.

Mary Ann graduated from Campbellsville High School in 1970 and received her bachelor's from Eastern Kentucky University in Education. She was employed as the Administrative Director for the World Law Institute for many years. She was a member of the Erie County Conservation League, a past member of the League of Women's Voters and also sat on the board for the construction of the Erie County Jail and the James H. McBride Arboretum. Mary Ann took great pride in her home and yard, she enjoyed traveling and was an excellent cook. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her father, Mary Ann is survived by her daughter, Jamie Didion of Cleveland; son, Scott (Colleen) Didion of Fayetteville, NC; grandchildren, Brayden and Hudson; sister, Deborah (Kevin Wright) Ferrante; brother, Frank (Nancy) Ferrante of KY and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to her mother, Mary Ann is preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Didion.
