Marilyn Foos age 78 of Clyde passed away Thursday, October 21,2010 at the University of Toledo Medical Center. She was born July 23, 1932 in Tiffin the daughter of the late Frederick & Betty (Haudenshild) Kiesel. Marilyn retired from Cal-Van Tools. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the Clyde Eagles Aerie 2291. Survivors include her son, Jeffrey A. Foos of Clyde, daughters, Deborah L. Hire of Castalia, Cynthia A. Dorobek of Pensacola, FL, Cheryl M. Novitski, Helena, OH, Robin L. Sears of Clyde, 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, brothers, Thomas Kiesel of Tiffin, David Kiesel of Tiffin, sisters, Barbara Nycum of Clyde, Kathleen Weaver of Chester Hills, Linda Hayman of Republic, Sharon Lynch of Old Fort, and Terry Reel of Sandusky. In addition to her parents her husband Peter Foos whom she married Nov. 26, 1949 in Bellevue, brothers Donald Kiesel, Jerry Kiesel, Jimmy Kiesel, sisters, Judy Hoaker, and Carol Springer preceded her in death. Private services will be held at Foos – Klein Funeral Home 318 S. Main St., Clyde, OH 43410. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Clyde.
