Clara M. (Perry) Burrow, 89, residing in Dover, OH, formerly of Sandusky, passed away on Christmas Eve 2016 after a long period of declining health.

She was born on September 10, 1927 in Sandusky, OH.

She was a resident of the Inn at Northwood Village in Dover for the last two and a half years. Although Clara had been a life long resident of Sandusky, upon retiring from General Motors in 1988 after thirty four years of service, She spent a considerable amount of time in the Dover area visiting family and helping out with each new grand baby that came along.

She is survived by her sons, John (Sue) Burrow of Norwalk, Ohio, Bruce of Bradford, Ohio, Jeff (Ellen) Burrow of Sandusky, her daughter Pam (Steve) Shutt of Dover, and a sister, Peggy Anne Fitzthum of Sandusky. She also leaves behind her bundles of joy; nine grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.

Clara was preceded in death by her husband John "Bud" Burrow in 1977, an infant son, Gary, her parents William C. and Florence Perry, her brother William B. Perry, and a sister, Jean Rohrbacher.

It was her wish to be cremated and a Mass of Christian Burial, celebrating her life will take place at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 1605 W. Jefferson St., Sandusky, on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 10A.M. The Rev. Joseph Steinbauer will officiate. A celebration of life luncheon will follow the services in the parish hall. Interment will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park at a later date.
