June A. Sprouse, 79, of Sandusky, died Monday, January 2, 2017, in Stein Hospice Care Center.
She was born on June 6, 1937, in Sandusky, to the late Donald and Dorothy (Schweigert) Wagner, and graduated from St. Mary's High School.
She was employed as a cook for the V.F.W. Post 2529 and Poons Sports Bar & Grill.
June loved to play bingo, cards, going to garage sales, and she loved her dogs, Snow and Jack.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Vince) Wick, Norwalk; sons, Timothy (Martha) Sprouse, Donald (Lori) Sprouse, and Patrick (Carmen) Sprouse, all of Sandusky; nine grandchildren, one great-grandson; sister, Mary Lou Zammerelli, Olmsted Falls, OH; brothers, Charles "Butch" (Ruthie) Wagner and Robert (Carol) Wagner, both of Sandusky; special friend, Helen Parsells, Sandusky; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William in 1995, parents; sons, William and Robert; and a grandson, Christopher.
There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 14, 2017, at 10:30 A.M. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Deacon Bill Burch will officiate.
