Catherine L. Dietrich, 92, of Monroeville, died Saturday afternoon, July 23, 2011 in the Providence Care Center, Sandusky following a lengthy illness.
She was born July 17, 1919 in Monroeville, the daughter of Victor & Louise (Heether) Dietrich, and had lived the majority of her life at the family’s home at 268 W. Monroe Street, Monroeville.
Kate is survived by three nieces: Joan Theirry, Karen (Bernie) Fries and Sue Kane, numerous great nieces and nephews, including great nieces, Julia Beverick and Allison Will, special great great niece: Samantha Beverick, and her family and caregivers at Providence Care Center who’ve taken such good care of her in the later years of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters: Helen Heyman (with whom she lived) and Estelle Donaldson, and three brothers: Frank, John and Aloysius.
Friends may call Wednesday, July 27, 2011 from 10:00 AM until time of Christian Burial Mass at 10:30 AM in the St. Joseph Catholic Church, 66 Chapel Street, Monroeville. The Rev. William Pifher will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Monroeville. Pfeil Funeral Home, Monroeville Chapel, is handling the arrangements.
