Dawn Marie (James) Willis, 41, of Bay View, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2017 in Firelands Regional Medical Center.
She was born on September 19, 1975 in Sandusky to Wallace and Connie (Stepp) James.
She graduated from Kaplan University with a Bachelor's Degree. Dawn loved to crochet, fish, and collect different "trinkets" and collectibles. She was an excellent cook and was known in her family as the caregiver because she put everyone else before herself. She will be deeply missed.
Dawn is survived by her husband, Robert J. Willis, whom she married on July 7, 2007; daughters, Sabrina, Amber, and Carolyna Willis; grandchildren, Savannah Gene Grace Willis, Elainah Marie Cathcart, and Cameron Tyler Butts; parents, Wallace and Connie James; brothers, Wallace R. and Glen E. James; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Wallace D. James; father-in-law, Robert G. Willis; maternal grandparents, Troy and Carol Stepp; and paternal grandparents, Charlie and Nancy James; among many other family members.
Friends may call on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 from 11 a.m. until time of funeral services at 1 p.m. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Chaplain Mel Sayler will officiate.
