Patricia L. Stewart, 61, of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 10, 2017 in her home.
She was born in Sandusky on August 17, 1955 to the late Keith and Donna Stewart.
She received both her Bachelor's degree and her Master's degree from Bowling Green State University. Patricia wanted to do good, and her education was her tool to help others. She also cared for animals. She will be deeply missed.
Patricia is survived by her daughter, Lexi Coonrad, of Huron; sister-in-law, Shelly (John) Luipold, of Sandusky; brothers-in-law, Ron (Suanne) Coonrad, of Abingdon, Maryland, and Dennis (Lorna) Coonrad, of Leander, Texas; lifelong friend, Loretta Hoppe; special cousin, Jeff Bragg; and many other family members.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eric 'Rick' Coonrad; and brother-in-law, Gary Coonrad.
At Patricia's request, cremation will take place. A Celebration of Life gathering will take place at a later date in the Toft Event Room, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Erie County Humane Society or to Back to the Wild.
