Forrest J. Frost 79, of Sandusky, died Sunday, February 19, 2017, in Firelands Regional Medical Center.
He was born on May 20, 1937 in Bellevue, OH, to the late Joy and Florence (Boyer) Frost.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from General Motors as a machine operator after many years.
He was a member of Science Lodge #50 F. & A.M., the Singara Grotto, and was a 32nd Degree Mason, Scottish Rite, Valley of Toledo. Forrest loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sharon (French) Frost; children, Michael (Carin) Frost, Indian Springs, NV, David (Renata) Frost, Norwalk, OH, Jennifer (Mark) Esposito, Sandusky, and Jason (Donnell) Frost, Louisville, KY; seventeen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Don Frost; sisters, Jane Husbands and Vivian Keller; and step brother, Robert Rakosky.
Friends may call on Thursday, February 23, 2017, from 4 P.M. until time of Masonic services at 5 P.M. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Private burial will take place in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron, where the American Legion Post 83 Color Guard will provide the military honors.
