Barbara A. Capone-Robertson, 61, residing in Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning, February 21, 2017 at her home.
Barbara was born on March 19, 1955 in Manhattan, NY to the late Joseph L. and Patricia (Doyle) Tenore.
Barbara received her associate's degree in applied science from Terra State Community College. She had retired from the Volunteers of America as a residential specialist after 16 years of service. In her spare time, she enjoyed scrap booking, playing bingo, reading and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Barbara is survived by her daughters, Dawn and Christie Capone both of Sandusky and Michelle Mischler of AZ; son, Paul Capone of Sandusky; 15 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Susan (Loren Brown) Tenore and Tracey Tenore both of Sandusky; brothers, Richard Tenore of Nashville, TN and Tim Tenore of Jacksonville, FL and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence R. Robertson; granddaughter, Hunter Cheyanne Robertson; sister, Carolyn Gay and brothers, Ronald Fuscello and Michael Tenore.
At Barbara's request cremation will take place. Memorial services will be held and conducted at a later date. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
