Hazel I. White, 92, of Monroeville, Ohio, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2017 in her home.
She was born February 11, 1925 in Lafollette, Tennessee, to the late Edward and Nellie (Noe) Davis, and came to this area in 1957 from Lafollette.
Hazel was a former employee of the Fanny Farmer Candy Company, and enjoyed going to Casino's.
She is survived by her children, Calvin D. (Margie) White of Norwalk, Ohio, William E. White of Norwalk, Ohio, Kenneth R. (Rhonda) White of Monroeville, Ohio, Michael (Denise) White of Monroeville, Ohio, and Patsy Irene (Sarge) Garcia of Green Springs, Ohio, by 12 grandchildren, and 18 Great grandchildren. Hazel is also survived by her brother, Bobby Davis of Austin, Texas, and by her sisters, Kathleen (Charles) Burge of Crossville, Tennessee, and Mary Belle Haynes of Clyde, Ohio and formerly of Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin C. White in 1980, by her brothers, Jess, Clifford, Billy, John, and Charles Davis, and by her sisters, Ethel Vann, Laverne Atchley, and Nina Proctor.
Friends may call on Saturday, February 25, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Friends may also call on Monday, February 27, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until the time of service at 8:00 p.m. in the Walters Funeral Home, 509 East Central Avenue, Lafollette, Tennessee. Interment will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in Sunrise Cemetery.
