Jean Jones, 82, of Berlin Heights and formerly of Inez, Kentucky passed away Friday evening, March 3, 2017 at her residence following a lengthy illness.
She was born July 30. 1934 in Inez, Kentucky.
Jean was a child on God, being baptized on March 10, 1963. She was a member of the Middle Fork United Baptist Church in Inez. She loved children, and cherished her time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by one son: Randall (Donna) Jones of Huron; one daughter: Vera (Daniel) Buschur of Berlin Heights; six grandchildren: Sarah (Philip) Montgomery, Samantha Buschur, Heather (Tony) Thurston, Jeremiah "Miah" (Ann) Jones, Joshua (Tabitha) Jones and Gabriel Jones; 13 great grandchildren; six siblings: Joan Carter, John Walter (Robin) Cassady, Peggy (Eddie) Davis, Mickey Cassady, Roger (Tammy) Cassady, and Annette (Barry) Munson; special grandchildren: Joshua "Rosco" Rausch; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband: James Walter Jones in 1997; four sons: Donnie, Ronnie, Ricky and Bob Jones; one grandson: Scott Benjamin Jones; her parents: Samuel & Daisy (Pemberton) Cassady; three siblings: Sarah Wells, Hedy Cassady and A.J. Cassady.
Friends may call Wednesday, March 8, 2017 from 3:00-7:00 PM at the Pfeil Funeral Home, Sandusky Chapel, 617 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky, OH.
Friends may also call on Friday, March 10, 2017 from 6:00-9:00 PM at the Richmond-Callaham Funeral Home, 278 W. Main Street, Inez, KY. 41224, where church services will start at 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, March 11, 2017 in the Richmond-Callaham Funeral Home with Elder Walker Fields and Elder Gene Burnett officiating. Burial will follow in the Jones Cemetery, Inez.
