Carol Mae Bollinger age 80 of Bellevue was reunited with her husband Bud on Wednesday, July 27, 2011. She was born April 1, 1931 in Bellevue the daughter of the late Foster & Alvesta (Sauer) Bond. Carol was a homemaker and worked at the Bellevue Schools in the cafeterias. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, the former D of I, Immaculata Circle. She was a 1949 graduate of Bellevue High School, a Girl Scout leader for 30+ years, a Cub Scout leader for 10+ years, a Bellevue Hospital volunteer and an Avon rep. She enjoyed painting, gardening and the outdoors. Survivors include her daughters, Sandy (Vince) Loparo of Bellevue, Brenda (Bill) Hedrick of Tempe, AZ, Linda (Tom) Aigler of Bellevue, sons, Mark (Deb) Bollinger of Bellevue, John (Lenetta) Bollinger of Bellevue, Paul Bollinger of Monroeville, Joe Bollinger of Bellevue, 17 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents her husband, Merril “Bud” Bollinger whom she married June 15, 1949 in Bellevue and her sister, Mila Lea Briggs. Friends will be received Tuesday, August 2, 2011 from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 pm at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue where the Rosary will be recited at 8 pm. A funeral Mass will be held Wednesday at 11:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. Center St., Bellevue. Burial will follow at Bellevue Catholic Cemetery.
