Sue Gravenhorst, 73, of Monroeville passed away Saturday, March 11, 2017 in the University of Toledo Medical Center, Toledo following a lengthy illness.
She was born April 3, 1943 in Christiansburg, Ohio and was a 1962 graduate of Bellevue Senior High School.
Sue was employed for 28 years at GTE, retiring in 1992. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Norwalk. Everyone loved Sue's sense of humor.
She is survived by Joseph "Joe" Gravenhorst, whom she married on December 15, 1962; one sister, Paulette (Jim) Molnar of Norwalk; one nephew, Paul (Whitney) Molnar of Norwalk; a longtime friend, Harriet Braun of Wakeman and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ofield Patrick and her mother Gladys Williams.
At the request of the deceased there will be no viewing. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, March 17, 2017 in the Pfeil Funeral Home, Monroeville Chapel, 109 Monroe Street, Monroeville. The Rev. Ann Marshall will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery, Pontiac, Ohio.
