David L. Perry, 54, residing in Sandusky, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017 unexpectedly after battling a lengthy illness.
David was born February 11, 1963 in Sandusky, OH to the late Donald L. and Donna M. (Forrest) Perry.
He attended Sandusky High School, where he was liked by many.
David, in his younger years, was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was a great collector of hunting knives, swords and Taz Manian Devil artifacts. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews, and always had a soft spot for pit bulls.
David is survived by his brother, Dennis (Mary) Perry; sisters, Denise (Fred) Seward and Debra (Henderly) Perry; nieces and nephews, Danielle, Anthony (Jessica), Sarah and Jayde Henderly and Michael Vincent and three great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his brother, Bruce Perry and infant sister, Bonnie.
Family and friends may visit Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 11:00 am until the time of memorial services at 12:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky.
