Rebecca A. Carr, 69, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away suddenly, early Thursday morning, April 13, 2017 in the University of Toledo Medical Center.
She was born October 5, 1947 in Bluffton, Indiana, to the late Donald E. and Ethel Virginia (Egly) Lagle.
Becky came to Norwalk in 1993 from Terre Haute, Indiana, and moved to Bellefontaine, Ohio in 2000, returning to Norwalk in 2010. She received her Bachelors of Science Degree from the University of Indianapolis, and received her Master's Degree in Education from Indiana University. Becky was a member, past elder, and secretary of the Norwalk First Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of Tri Kappa Sorority. Becky was a supporter of the Stuff the Bus Project, and Weekends Without Hunger Project. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, traveling, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, William C. Carr of Norwalk, Ohio, and by her children, Megan K. Carr of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Andrew "Andy" (Stacey) Carr of Avon, Ohio, and by 3 grandchildren, Kylie, Katie, and Drew Carr.
Friends may call on Monday, April 17, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Great Room of the First Presbyterian Church, 21 Firelands Blvd. Norwalk, Ohio, where Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. David Comstock will officiate.
