Dominic (Domm) Joseph Munafo

Dominic (Domm) Joseph Munafo, 29, of Columbus, OH, peacefully departed this world on Monday, April 3, 2017, while embraced by the love and comfort of family and friends.

He was born on October 27th, 1987 in Bellevue, OH.

Domm was a graduate of Perkins High School, Class of 2006. He went on to obtain a Bachelor of Communications Degree from Bowling Green State University where he played an instrumental role as a competitive member of the BGSU Cheer Program. Throughout the course of his professional life, Domm brought a unique flare, fabulous sense of fashion, and vibrant attitude as an employee to companies and organizations such as Midwest Cheer Elite Toledo, Universal Cheerleaders Association, Coach, Abercrombie and Fitch, Pottery Barn, Mary Kay Cosmetics, and DSW Cooperate. No stranger to the spotlight, Domm fantastically excelled in many things including, cheer, tumbling, swimming and running. However, it was his unparalleled talent to light up any room with his bright smile and prevailing personality that he obtained his most cherished possessions: LOVE AND FRIENDSHIP.

Dominic is survived by his mother and father, Annette Munafo of Sandusky, OH and Guy Munafo of Huron, OH; three brothers, Vincent Munafo, Anthony Munafo, and Dylan Winkel; Grandparents, Joyce and Alan Fitzpatrick of Norwalk, OH and Betty and Anthony Munafo of Huron, OH; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins; a wealth of friends; and his dog, Tyson Templeton.

Domm is preceded in death by his Grandparents, Janet and Peter Palmison.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 510 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Fr. Joseph Steinbauer will officiate. Inurnment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Sandusky.

Memorial contributions may be made in care of the family.
