Garrett Daniel Barnette, 37, of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at his home in Sandusky, Ohio.
Garrett was born to Jeffery Barnette and Christina Barnette on August 16, 1979.
He went to Margaretta High School, with the class of 1998. He enjoyed spending time with family, specifically his many nephew and nieces and grandmother whom he loved dearly. Garrett loved to cook and grill for family and friends. Garrett was the ultimate Cleveland sports fan, even the Browns, and loved The Ohio State Buckeyes. Garrett had a contagious laugh and always lent a listening ear to the many whom called him friend.
Garrett is survived by his parents Jeffery (Linda) Barnette and Christina Barnette, daughter Eva, grandmothers Ruth Galindo and Shirley Clifford, and his grandfather Ray Barnette, siblings Jeffery Todd (Samantha Spayd) Barnette, Danah (Eric) Balduff, Benjamin (Karyn) Barnette, Penny (Joe) Stanley, girlfriend Sandy Fisher, and 11 nieces and nephews; Kaylyn, Liliann, Mia, Vinny, Giana, Bennett, Kynlee, Vivien, Eddie, Jett and Antonio.
Garrett's Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 11am in Faith Memorial Church 1320 E. Strub Road in Sandusky.
Memorial contributions may be made to Garrett's Go Fund Me page and will be presented to Eva
