Tami S. Van Zandt DeMore, 50, Toledo and formerly of Sandusky, died unexpectedly Sunday afternoon, April 30, 2017, in her home.
She was born August 26, 1966, in Sandusky, the daughter of Ronald G. and Bonnie L. (Renwand) Van Zandt.
She was a 1984 graduate of St. Mary's High School, and worked at Margaritaville and Sandusky Flooring before becoming a full-time homemaker. She will be remembered as a loving mother, wife and daughter, and as a fun-loving, adventurous, and generous soul.
In addition to her parents, Tami is survived by her husband, Anthony DeMore; her three children who meant the world to her, Brandon Frank and Jenna and Lola DeMore; sister, Carrie (Patrick) Kane, Virginia Beach, Virginia; brother, Ronnie J. Van Zandt, Sandusky; mother-in-law, Anita DeMore, Sandusky; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunt, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Raymond and Florence Renwand; paternal grandparents, George and Virginia Van Zandt; and uncles, Steve Renwand and Fred Kerber.
Friends may call Thursday from 6-8 p.m. in Toft Funeral Home, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church, 429 Central Ave., Sandusky, with Rev. Philip Feltman officiating. Inurnment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
