Elizabeth "Beth" I. Kimberlin, 53, of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 20, 2017 while on a trip in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Beth was born to Ronald and Judy Schoenegge on November 3, 1963.
She went to Huron High School, graduating in 1982. She owned and operated The Pie Factory Pizzeria and Bakery in Sandusky. She also loved being employed at Stein Hospice.
She enjoyed spending time with the love of her life and best friend, James Kimberlin, and going on motorcycle rides. Family and friends were Beth's passion and delight. She loved to host and entertain, and frequently had gatherings at her house. She was very active and loved being outdoors. Beth was a huge Cleveland sports fan, especially the Cleveland Indians. Beth possessed a contagious smile and an entertaining sense of humor. Her signature gift of joy, shown through her constant smiling, laughter, and joking around will never be forgotten.
Beth is survived by her parents; husband, James; sisters, Ronda (Bob) Hartley and Angie (Ken) Mingus; children, Noah Downing (Ashlee), Megan Kimberlin, and James Kimberlin; grandchildren, Maxxwell and Preston; nieces, Monica Mingus and Shannon Hartley; nephews, Kevin Mingus (Marissa) and Brandon Scott (Samantha); and numerous loving relatives and friends.
Beth's Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, May 7 from 1-5 p.m. in the VFW Post 2529, 604 W. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Chaplain Mel Sayler will lead a brief service at 1:30.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Beth's name to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
