Donald “Don” E. Anders, 87, Springfield, PA, and formerly of Sandusky, died Friday, August 5, 2011.
He was born in Sandusky to the late Tom and Minnie Anders.
Don was a WWII veteran serving in Africa. He was employed by Pennsylvania Tide Water Dock Co. and Clifton Precision, as a tool and die maker.
He was an avid sports fan.
Don is survived by his wife of 67 years, Betty (Green) Anders; sons, Michael (Linda) Anders, Springfield, PA, and Theodore (Gail) Anders, Kunkletown, PA; brother, John Anders, Sandusky; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Susan Jane Andrews; brothers, James and Thomas; sisters, Peg, Lois, and Jean.
Friends may call on Friday, August 12, 2011, from 6-8:30 P.M. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Graveside services will be held Saturday at 10:30 A.M. in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.
