Charlette Mae Harkelroad, 69, residing in Sandusky died Monday morning, May 1, 2017 in the Providence Care Center following a lengthy illness.
Charlette was born on June 15, 1947 in Sandusky to the late Charles C. and Eva Mae (Ramsdell) Petersen.
Charlette owned several businesses and was remembered most as an excellent hairdresser for many years in Sandusky. She enjoyed playing internet games, shopping, bingo and spending time with her family. Charlette was a member of Fathers Heart Family Church in Sandusky. She was a devoted Christian, mother and grandmother
Charlette is survived by her children, Gwen Harkelroad and Chad Harkelroad both of Sandusky; four grandchildren, Mayson, Sam, Josh and William Harkelroad; one sister, Kay (Donald) Norris of Cleveland and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Including her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Binns.
Friends may call on Saturday, May 6, 2017 from 10:00 am until time of Memorial Services at 11:30 am in the Fathers Heart Family Church 1814 Milan Rd. Sandusky, Ohio 44870. The Pastor Tony Robinson will officiate. Inurnment will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
The Groff Funeral Home and Crematory in Sandusky are handling the arrangements for the family.
