Grace B. (Kemmery) Corbin, 89, residing in Sandusky, passed away Wednesday morning, May 10, 2017 at Admiral's Pointe Nursing & Rehabilitation Center after a brief illness.
Grace was born on January 28, 1928 in Bronson Township, Ohio, to the late William and Blanch (Robinson) Kemmery.
Grace retired from the New Departure Hyatt in 1978 after 30 years of service. She was a member of VFW Women's Auxiliary and the Sandusky Eagles. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing cards, dominos, bowling, bird watching, animals, her elephant collection and spending time with her family and friends.
Grace is survived by her sons, Joseph E. (Patricia) Corbin of Sandusky and John R. (Susan) Corbin of Huron; grandchildren, Kyra Jo Corbin and Jennifer (Chris) Thayer; great-grandchild, Corbin Thayer and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Grace is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond L. Corbin in 1979 and seven brothers and sisters.
Private family services will be held and conducted. Burial will take place at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
