Marilyn A. Bowers 80, residing in Sandusky, and formerly of Whites Landing, died Monday, May 15, 2017, in Genacross Lutheran Services, formerly Lutheran Memorial Home.
She was born on August 1, 1937 in Vickery to the late Charles and Velma (Richards) Evans.
She was employed by Canfield-Hartley, and worked with her husband at Bowers Sanitation. Marilyn also volunteered for Stein Hospice.
She is survived by her children, Kathy (Don) Parker, Sandusky, Don (Cindy) Bowers, White Landing, Kay Ann Braden, Sandusky, and Brian Bowers, Whites Landing; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerold Bowers in 2014; parents; son-in-law, Terry Braden; brothers, Kenneth Evans and Robert Evans; and a sister, Eileen Evans Foreman.
A Celebration of her life will take place on Friday, May 19, 2017, at 6 P.M. in the Whites Landing Town Hall, 3063 County Rd. 290, Whites Landing.
