Richard H. Swain, age 89, of Sandusky, died Wednesday night, August 10, 2011, in the Ohio Veterans Home.
He was born Dec. 15, 1921 in Macksburg, OH, and was employed by New Departure Hyatt. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWll, and was a member of Sand Hill Methodist Church and the Masons of Ohio.
He is survived by several brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.
Richard was preceded in death by his wife Gladys, and several brothers and sisters.
Graveside services for the family were held today, August 12, 2011, in Sand Hill Cemetery. Ransom Funeral Home, Castalia, is in charge of arrangements.
