Anna M. Jones, 84, of Sandusky, passed away early Friday morning, June 9, 2017 in Stein Hospice Care Center after a brief illness.
She was born on July 24, 1932 in Marion, OH to the late Wayne and Goldie Jones.
She was a graduate of Marion Harding High School. Anna worked for Ford Motor Co., Sandusky, for 35 years, retiring in 1991. She was a member of the Erie County Women's Democratic Party, AMVETS Sandusky Post 17, Sandusky Eagles, and Sandusky Local 1216 UAW Retirees.
Anna is survived by her sons, John Gwinner, of Sandusky, and Larry (Sharon) Gwinner, of Bay View; grandchildren, Steven (Suzanne) Gwinner, Stephanie (Gary) Biggert, Stan (Diana Ketcham) Gwinner, Heidi Gwinner, and Lindsey Dickman; great-grandchildren, Shelby Gwinner, Sarah Gwinner, Brianna Gwinner, Katlyn Gwinner, Caleb Gwinner, and Aiden Biggert; sister, Helen Hoodlet; and other family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Gwinner; and sister, Ruth Williams.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 14 until time of funeral services at 11 a.m. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Pastor Ben Patrick will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
