Mary A. (Ewers) Dunn, 65, residing in Bellevue, passed away late Thursday evening, June 8, 2017 at Stein Hospice Care Center surrounded by her loving family.
Mary was born on October 30, 1951 in Sandusky, OH to the late Virgil and Mary (Casey) Ewers.
Mary received her associate's degree from the Ohio Business College and was a financial counselor at McGruder Hospital. She was the past president of the Bellevue VFW Auxiliary. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling, including trips to the casino and spending time with her family and friends.
Mary is survived by her husband, Michael Dunn, whom she married on November 11, 1967. She is also survived by her daughters, Angela (Tom) Kessler of Sandusky and Heather (Scott) Eisenhauer of Bellevue; grandchildren, Brittany, Michael, Allison, Michaela, Brandon and Devyne; sisters, Joanie Snezek, Faye Mickle, Rita Bartholomew, Marilyn Stevens and Jane King; brother, Virgil Ewers and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Friends may call on Monday, June 12, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. An additional hour of visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 from 11:00 AM until the time of funeral services at 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Pastor Wayne Brockway will be presiding over the services. Entombment will follow at Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.
