Patricia Kay (Callahan) Snow, 66, of Sandusky and formerly of Mount Morris, MI, passed away early Wednesday morning, June 7, 2017 at her home after a long battle with metastic cancer.
Patty was born on September 12, 1950 in Flint, MI to the late Donald and Nina (Pearce) Callahan.
She graduated from St. Mary's Catholic High School in Mount Morris, MI and attended Ferris State College. Most recently, she was a semi-retired self-employed marketing manager. Prior to that she was a Marketing Manager at the Monsoon Lagoon in Port Clinton and the Sandusky Mall. Patty was a former member of Calvary Temple Church. During her courageous battle with cancer, Patty found peace and enjoyment in doing artwork.
Patty is survived by her loving husband, Gregg A. Snow, whom she married on November 20, 1976. She is also survived by her son, Mark (Amy) Snow of Lyndhurst, OH; grandchildren, Thomas and Emilia Snow; step-son, Michael (Angie) Snow; grandchildren; Christian, Curran and Siena Snow all of Baton Rouge, LA; sister, Linda Reed of Lansing, MI; brother, Tim Callahan of Crandon, WI and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She will be remembered for her ability to strike up a conversation with anyone and make others comfortable even during the most difficult times. Her positive attitude helped her find humor in situations. She was determined and could do anything she put her mind to. She loved reminiscing and playing with her grandchildren. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life.
In addition to her parents, Patty is preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Heather Snow in 2016.
A celebration of Patty's life will be held on Friday, June 16, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. A private family service will be held at a later date.
