Helen Welshon Piper, 105 formerly of Sandusky, passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2017, in Oak Creek Terrace, Kettering, OH.
She was born on February 6, 1912 in Lorain Co., OH.
Helen along with her late husband Ellsworth worked together in many businesses that they owned in Huron. The Dari-Bar was the first venture, and went on to their pride and joy, The Pied Piper.
She was very active in the Eastern Star, where she served as Grand Matron and traveled the state fulfilling her duties.
Helen leaves her daughter, Patricia Caldwell and son-in-law, James Caldwell; three grandsons, Tim, Jeff and Scott; and also a large and growing family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ellsworth Piper in 2000.
Friends may call on Monday, July 17, 2017, from 12 P.M. Noon, until time of funeral services at 1 P.M. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Entombment will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
