Patricia O. Hearn, 61, of Sandusky, left her earthly dwelling early Sunday morning, July 30, 2017, surrendering after a courageous fight with cancer and ultimately winning eternal life.
She was born on September 30, 1955 in Steele, MO, moving to Sandusky as a child, and was a 1974 graduate of Sandusky High School.
She was employed for many years at Sandusky Plastics until its closure then began working at IAC, retiring due to illness in early 2017. Trish enjoyed cooking, word search puzzles, music, and dancing.
She accepted Christ as a child, rededicating her life to Christ as an adult in June, 2016.
Trish leaves to treasure her memories her daughters, Laquita and Leslie Hearn, and Tayjion Butler; their father, Johnny Butler; four grandchildren, TyCreesha, Taleeya, Anthony Henson, and Tiarous Hearn, all of Sandusky; great-grandson, Braylen Poole; her father, Tommie Lee Hearn; siblings, Fredrick, Nathaniel, Kenny, Dianna, and Kiniyuna, all of Sandusky, Caroline and Marquita, both of Maryland, Karen and Mark (Yolanda), both of Columbus, OH; and Bettie (David) Allen, of N. Carolina; and half-sister, Martha Straughter, of Missouri; aunt, Dorothy, of Illinois; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her infant great-grandson, Nikye Anthony Webb; mother, Ruby (Johnson) Hearn; sister, Shella Hearn; and half-brother, Tommie, Jr.
Cremation will take place. Memorial services for the family will be private. Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, is handling arrangements.
