Paul Charles Bath, 65, of Sandusky, passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 in Stein Hospice Care Center after a lengthy illness.
He was born on May 25, 1952 in Bellevue, OH to the late Sydney and Della (Erckman) Bath. He worked at Mack Iron Works for nearly 39 years.
He loved hunting, fishing, and watching sports. His favorites being the Cleveland Indians, Ohio State Buckeyes, and the Cleveland Browns. Always a jokester with a sharp wit, he will be deeply missed.
Paul is survived by his wife, Rebecca (Maynard) Bath, whom he married on July 3, 1992; daughters, Jaime (Lance) Granzow, of Hubbard, IA, Amber (Marc Stegen) Bath, of Eldora, IA, and Sara Bath, of Sandusky; grandchildren, Jeremiah, Taylor, and Parker Hess, Cooper and Hayden Granzow, and Griffin and Carson Stegen; fur-grandbaby, Harley; sisters, Gloria Hillenbrand and twin, Pauline Bath; brothers, Glenn Sutphen, Larry Bender, Larry Bath, Sydney Bath, and Donald Bath; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and -nephews, great-great-nieces and -nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Dorothy Brunner and Barbara Sutphen; and brother, Gary Bath.
Friends may call from 9 am. on Saturday, August 19 until time of funeral services at 11 a.m. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Pastor Darrell Gant will officiate, and burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery. The family requests that you dress comfortably and casually, in honor of Paul and his family.
