Steve A. Jagel, I, 60, residing in Largo, FL, and formerly of Sandusky, died unexpectedly in his home on Monday, August 14, 2017.
He was born on November 8, 1956 in Sandusky to the late Robert and Delores (Klein) Jagel.
He was employed by Toft Dairy for 25 years, before leaving in 2001 due to health issues. He achieved the Eagle Scout award with the Sandusky division of Boy Scouts, and was also a past member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Sandusky, Ohio.
Steve is survived by his children, Jessica Jagel, Steve Jagel, Shannon Jagel, and Frances (Brotzki) Jagel; grandchildren, La'Asya and Ta'Maja Jackson and Annalise Jagel; brothers and sisters, Don (Deb) Jagel, Debra (Bob) Hyvarinen, Ann Carrizal, Richard Jagel, and Rebecca (Burton) Purcell; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by parents.
A memorial service will be held Friday, September 1, 2017 at 6 P.M. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky.
