Ernest J. Pilliod, Sr. age 67 of Bellevue passed away Monday, Oct. 4, 2010 at the Cleveland Clinic.
He was born July 6, 1943 in Columbus, OH the son of the late Eugene J. & Gail M. (Attwood) Pilliod. He was employed as a custodian at the Bellevue American Legion Post. He was a member of the Clyde Eagles, Bellevue Moos, Bellevue American Legion and Bellevue VFW.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley A. (Lockhart) Pilliod whom he married Feb. 11, 1963 in Portsmouth, OH, sons, Ernest J. Pilliod, Jr., Bryan Pilliod both of Bellevue, granddaughters, Tara A. Pilliod of Norwalk, Kelly Ann M. Pilliod of MI, brother, Joe H. (Claudette) Pilliod of NJ, sister Patty (Donald) Knight of FL.
In addition to his parents his daughter Thelma Jane Pilliod and sister Donna K. Manring preceded him in death. Friends will be received Friday, Oct. 8, 2010 from 6 - 8 pm at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue.
