Sean Martin Bishop, 32, of Bokeelia Florida, was called home to be with our Lord on September 18, 2017 at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia as a result of complications related to liver transplant surgery. He was surrounded by family and love as he passed peacefully.
Sean was born on December 4, 1984 in Norwalk, Ohio, the son of Donald P. Bishop and LeeAnne (Walters) Peace.
He was always so vibrant, full of life and had a contagious smile. He was an amazing daddy and loved spending as much time as possible with his 4 year old daughter, Zoe Isabella Bishop. There wasn't anything in the world he wouldn't do for his little girl.
Another passion in his life was racing street stock cars on dirt tracks. His number was x33 as he followed the family tradition of 3's. He loved the thrill of being out on the track and was always happy no matter win or lose. He enjoyed working on cars and was always willing to give someone a helping hand. He was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. He loved to make people laugh and his amazing personality will never be forgotten.
Sean is survived by his wife Lindsey, (Immerfall) Bishop of Bokeelia, FL; daughter, Zoe Bishop of Bokeelia, FL; mother, LeeAnne (Don) Peace of Sandusky, OH; father, Donald P. Bishop of Ocala, FL; sisters, Carolyn (Aaron) Lynch of Norwalk, OH, Cynthia (Max) Holtz of Sandusky OH, Christina (Barry) Kelly of Powell and Jamie Bishop of Sandusky, OH; brother, Donald Paul Bishop Jr. of VA and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Sean is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Betty LaLond and Don Walters; paternal grandparents, Henry and Jean Bishop and nephew Charles James Kelly.
A celebration of Sean's life will be held on Saturday, September 30th at 2pm at New Life Church in Sandusky, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to a trust fund for Sean's daughter Zoe Isabella Bishop. Envelopes will be available at the church and can also be mailed to 10865 Russell Road, Bokeelia, FL 33922.
