Nancy L (Morey) Hesselbart, 77, residing in Sandusky, passed away early Sunday morning, September 24, 2017 at Parkvue Health Care Center after a lengthy illness.
Nancy was born on October 31, 1939 in Sandusky, OH to the late Earl D. and Alice E. (Penketh) Morey.
Nancy was a 1957 graduate from Sandusky High. She was the proof department supervisor for 12 years at Third National Bank. Nancy was a member of St. Stephen United Church of Christ. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening and line dancing. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Bruce C. Hesselbart, whom she married on October 2, 1965. She is also survived by her daughters, Deborah Hesselbart of Ocoee, FL and DeDe (Eric) Sideri of Lewis Center, OH; granddaughters, Megan, Ashley, Emily and Sophia and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by brothers, William, Robert and Wayne Morey.
Friends may call on Friday, September 29, 2017 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. Stephen United Church of Christ, 905 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky with Rev. Jerald Fenske presiding. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.
