Lois M. Skinner, 83, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2017 in her home.
She was born December 12, 1933 in Shelby, Ohio, to the late George L. and Bernice (Dunlap) Cain, and came to this area in 1957.
Lois attended the Adoration Assembly of God. She was a former employee of New Horizons Baking Company, and the Norwalk Walmart. Lois enjoyed crafting, knitting, and crocheting.
She is survived by her children, Robert L. (Mary) Moore of Collins, Ohio, Timothy J. (Lisa) Moore of Norwalk, Ohio, Christine J. (Cary) Boedigheimer of Hawley, Minnesota, Gale K. Moore of Norwalk, Ohio, Peggy S. Moore of Norwalk, Ohio, and Juanita L. (George) Sharp of Milan, Ohio.
Lois is also survived by her step daughter, Nancy E. DeSanto of Elyria, Ohio, by 23 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 8 step great grandchildren, and by her best friend, Dottie Varney of Norwalk, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd M. Skinner in 2002, by her son, Gordon Moore in 1974, by her infant son, T.J. Moore, by her daughter, Libby Platte in 2009, by her step son, David F. Skinner, and several brothers and sisters.
There will be no calling hours. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in Collins Cemetery. Rev. Rick Kennison will officiate.
