Eleanor J. (Enderle) Flesher, 84, residing in Milan, passed away Monday afternoon, October 16, 2017 at University Hospital after a brief illness.
Eleanor was born on January 31, 1933 in Huron, OH to the late Louis E. and Cecelia E. (Zimmerman) Enderle.
Eleanor retired as a secretary from the Milan Elementary School after 25 years of service. She was a 60 year member at Milan Friends Church, where she was active in many difference aspects throughout the years. Eleanor was named Milan Citizen of the Year in 1992. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening in her yard, flowers, reading, her grandchildren and spending time with her family and friends.
Eleanor is survived by her daughters, Diane (Cory) Parker of Milan, Anita Flesher of Cincinnati and Elaine Bergmann of Cincinnati; son, Ken (Julie) Flesher of Milan; 7 grandchildren; brother, William (Marilyn) Enderle of Huron and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Eleanor is preceded in death by her husband, M. Dale Flesher in 1996; sister, Alice Shafer and brothers, Charles, Wayne, and Louis Enderle.
Friends may call on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 9:30am until the time of memorial services at 11:00am at Milan Friends Church, 2018 Mason Rd. E, Milan. Pastor Paul Campbell will officiate. Burial will be held at a later date in Milan Cemetery, Milan. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
