Allen L. McKillips, 49, Sandusky, died Monday, August 22, 2011, at his residence.
He was born on December 25, 1961 in Sandusky, and was a 1980 graduate of Sandusky High School.
He was employed by The Limited in Sandusky and Heatech in Huron, and he also cleaned fish.
Allen loved fishing, hunting, playing baseball with the kids, was a member of AA and was involved with Teen Challenge, a Christian recovery group.
He is survived by his parents, Darrell and Phyllis (Becraft) McKillips, Sandusky; children, Jennifer McKillips, Ashley McKillips, Erica McKillips and Catrina Crum, all of Sandusky; grandchildren, Ethan Aceto, Brayden Hartley, Brooklyn Ayers, and Teagen Crum; brothers, Kelvin (Kim) McKillips, Charlie (Dena) McKillips, and Todd (Andrea) McKillips, all of Sandusky; aunts, Wanda and Geneen; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Friends may call on Thursday, August 25, 2011, from 11 A.M. until time of funeral services at 1 P.M. in Faith Memorial Church, 1320 E. Strub Rd., Sandusky. Rev. Kenneth Hiser will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Toft Funeral Home & Crematory.
