Fayrene Musick, 83, formerly of Sandusky and residing in Wellington, Ohio with her daughter passed away early Sunday morning at Mercy Allen Hospital in Oberlin, Ohio unexpectedly.
She was born on July 21, 1934 in Council, Virginia to the late Clarence and Nelia (Combs) Lester.
Fayrene was a member of the Venice Rd. Baptist Church and enjoyed being with and spending time with her family and friends. She retired from General Motors 2001 after many years of service.
Fayrene is survived by her daughter, Lori Bitting of Wellington, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Sara Baxter, Larry Bitting, Nicole Musick, DeAnna Musick, Kim Morgan, Royale Bitting and Lori Gregoire; fifteen great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Including her parents, Faye is preceded in death by husband, Gid Musick in 2010; her son Michael Musick; two sisters, Sue Scarce and Geral Offill, and three brothers, Bill, Clarence and Garland Lester.
Friends may call on Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 11 AM until time of funeral services at 12 PM at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory Huron Chapel, 2600 Bogart Rd. Huron, Ohio. The Rev. B.R. Hatfield will officiate. Burial will follow services in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
