Josephine G. Kelley, 91, of Sandusky passed away surrounded by her family Sunday evening, October 29, 2017 in The Meadows at Osborn Park following a lengthy illness.
She was born October 9, 1926 in Sandusky.
Josephine was a graduate of Sts. Peter & Paul Elementary School and attended Sandusky High School. Josephine was a homemaker, but worked at the former Philco Corporation and at the former Hinde & Dauch Company many years ago. She was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church and the former IAB Club.
She enjoyed shopping, crocheting, music, and dancing. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family.
She is survived by three sons, Gary (Linda) Kelley, Bill (Sue) Kelley both of Sandusky, and Jim (Joann) Kelley of Independence, Ohio; four grandchildren, Jason Kelley, Andrea (Matt) Baker, Tony (Darla) Kelley, and Nichole (TJ) Duff; eight great grandchildren, Patrick and Kyle Kelley, Garrett, Kelley, and Avery Baker, Colton Kelley, and Alex and Brielle Duff; one brother, Joe (Deb) Glorioso of Sandusky; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Kelley in 1978; her parents, Samuel and Michela (DeGrandi) Glorioso; and four siblings, Virginia Kowalski, Josie Artino, Rose Artino, and Samuel Glorioso.
Friends may call Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at the Pfeil Funeral Home, Sandusky Chapel, 617 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. A prayer service will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 9:30 AM in the funeral home followed by A Mass of Christian Burial in the Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 510 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky at 10:00 AM. Fr. Joe Steinbauer will officiate. Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Meadows at Osborn Park, 3916 Perkins Avenue, Huron, Ohio 44839, Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, or the donor's favorite charity.
