Rosevelt "Dupree" Robinson, 72, Sandusky, was called home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, October 31, 2017, after a brief illness.
He was born March 30, 1945 in Lowndes, AL, to the late Mack Reece and Amelia Robinson.
Rosevelt moved to Ohio at an early age and resided in Port Clinton and Sandusky, attending Port Clinton and Sandusky High Schools. He worked in Sandusky and retired in 2013.
He was a member of the New Hope Church of God in Christ, Sandusky.
He will be missed by his sons, Jeffrey Robinson, David Young, and Paul Robinson, one of his caregivers; brother, Ernest Robinson; sister, Easter (Donald) Williams; four grandchildren; and other caregivers, Nas Brown, Reggie Richardson, and his former spouse of 14 years, Denise Young.
He was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers; and four sisters.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 1 P.M. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Supt. Latham Stowers will officiate.
