Frank L. Ripka, 72, residing in Bellevue, passed away Thursday afternoon, November 2, 2017 at Firelands Regional Medical Center.
Frank was born on June 9, 1945 in Donora, PA to the late Peter and Sophie (Skrabut) Ripka.
Frank graduated from the Indiana Institute of Technology in Fort Wayne, IN and retired from Columbia Gas after several years of service. He enjoyed fishing on Lake Erie, golfing and tending to his garden.
Frank is survived by his nephew, Royce Repka; niece, Melanie Repka DeStout; great niece and nephew, Summer and Blake DeStout and sisters-in-law, Audrey and Phyllis Repka.
In addition to his parents, Frank is preceded in death by his brothers, Richard and Melvin Repka.
Private family services will be held and conducted at a later date. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
