Janie L. Siegfried, 58, Huron, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2017, in Stein Hospice Care Center, after a lengthy illness.
She was born on April 11, 1959 in Rome, NY, and graduated from Huron High School in 1977, where she was captain of the volleyball team, SBC champions, and received "The Sneaky Snake" award.
Janie enjoyed gardening, motorcycling, boating, and spending time with her family and animals.
She is survived by her lifelong companion, Kenneth Burmeister, Huron; mother, Luella Mussell, Huron; sisters, Marie Siegfried, New York, Linda Davridge, Huron and Diane Keairnes, Las Vegas; brothers, Donald Siegfried and Ernest R. Siegfried, both of New York.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest G. Siegfried.
At her request there will be no services and cremation will take place in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky.
