David C. Fox "Weasel", 76, of Sandusky, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2017 in Admiral's Pointe Nursing & Rehabilitation, Huron, after a brief illness.
He was born on January 19, 1941 in Sandusky to the late Frank and Arietta (Denower) Fox, Sr.
He lettered in multiple sports in high school and went on to serve in the United States Navy on the USS Hugh Purvis. He then worked as Inventory Manager for Grill Meats and for the family business.
He was a member of the AMVETS. He drove school bus and coached his kids through sports. He loved music and could be found playing the guitar, whistling, and playing his music way too loud. He loved his family, especially his grandkids, more than anything.
David is survived by his sons, David (Tammi) Fox, II, Shawn (Dawn) Fox, and Patrick Fox; grandchildren, Zach, Blake, Ashley, Austin, Lindsey, Clay, and Hayden; sisters, Ginny Fox, Ruthie Sullivan, and Dorothy Musgrove; brothers, Frank Fox, Jr., Paul Fox, Sr., James "Sam" Fox, Daniel "Dink" Fox, and Roger Fox; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Kathyrene Meyers and Nancy Fox; and brothers, Alvin "John" Fox, Terry Fox, and Richard Fox.
At David's request, there will be no service. Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, is handling arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in David's name to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
