Carl B. Oddo "Mr. C" age 76 of Bellevue passed away Monday, Oct. 4, 2010 at Willard Mercy Hospital.
He was born August 23, 1934 in Bellevue the son of the late Charles & Grace (Battista) Oddo. He served in the US Navy from 1953 until he was honorably discharged in 1957. He attended schools of cosmetology in Norfolk, VA, Hollywood, CA and graduated from Toledo Barber College in 1968. He was known throughout the area as "Mr. C" for his unique work as a hair stylist for men and women for more than 40 years. He was an accomplished photographer. Carl was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Bellevue, Club Amer-ital, Bellevue Elks Lodge # 1013, and charter member of Attica Lions Club.
Survivors include his daughters, Mary Grace Gibson of Bellevue, Regina (Steve) Shupe, Cincinnati, OH, Dana (Rocky) Eskins of Bellevue, grandchildren, Corey Gibson, Krista Gibson, Courtney Gibson, Shannon (Josh) Asbach, Bryan Shupe, Emily Eskins, Erica Eskins, Elaina Eskins, Zachary Eskins, brothers, Dick ( Sherry) Oddo of Bellevue, and Bill (Beverly) Oddo of Bellevue.
In addition to his parents his brothers Sam, Chuck and Jim preceded him in death.
Friends will be received on Thursday, Oct. 7, 2010 from 2 - 8 pm at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. Elk's memorial service will be held at 5p.m. and Attica Lions memorial service will be at 7:30 pm. A funeral Mass will be held Friday at 11:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. Center St., Bellevue.
