Janet L. Conaway, 79, of Willard, Ohio, passed away Monday, November 27, 2017, in her daughter's home in Clyde, Ohio.
She was born July 30, 1938 in Akron, Ohio, to the late Wayne J. and Dorothy (McLane) Durling, and lived in this area most of her life.
Janet was a member of the North Fairfield United Methodist Church, and a graduate of North Fairfield High School. She retired from the Norwalk Kmart with over 25 years of service. Janet was an avid sports and NASCAR fan, enjoyed countryside drives, and especially enjoyed her family.
She is survived by her children, Cynthia L. Dennewitz of Norwalk, Ohio, Timothy L. (Melanie) Conaway of Willard, Ohio, Bryan A. Conaway of North Fairfield, Ohio, Randall J. Conaway of North Fairfield, Ohio, and Constance S. (Russell) Fritz of Clyde, Ohio, 6 grandchildren, Amanda, Randall, Ashley, Nicole, Rusty, and Owen, and by 6 great grandchildren, Jonah, Adrian, Ari, Alana, Addy, and Ashlton .
Janet is also survived by her sisters, Thelma (Bernard) Rice of Norwalk, Ohio, and Phyllis (Earl Bauer), of Willard, Ohio, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell J. Conaway in 2008.
Friends may call on Thursday, November, 30, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio, where funeral services will be held on Friday, December 1, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Jeff Watson, Associate Pastor of The Foundation Church will officiate. Interment will be in North Fairfield Cemetery.
