Tommie Edward Ross Jr., 86, Sandusky, died Monday, November 20, 2017, at his home in Sandusky.
He was born on May 23, 1931 in Grenada, MS.
He was much loved and will be greatly missed by his daughter, Cynthia Gowdy of Columbus, Ohio; eight sisters and brothers, Eva Mae Beck of Los Angeles, Flyndol "Bob" (Ellen) Ross of Sandusky, William Nels Ross of St. Louis, Dortha Jean Ross-Horton of St. Louis, John Eddie "Johnnie" Ross of Mansfield, Ohio, Dora Lee Ross of Sandusky, Gloria Stine Ross of St. Louis, and "Roy" Darnell Ross of Los Angeles, two grandsons, Brison Holliday and Bryant Gowdy; and three great-grandsons, JaSharein Holliday, Bralyn Holliday and Omari Sowers-El. He will also be dearly missed by numerous other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tommie and Ethel Ross, one sister, Mary Agnes Ford, and a granddaughter, LaTreshia Gowdy Sowers-El.
A memorial service will be at 12 p.m., noon Saturday, December 2, 2017, at Toft Funeral Home and Crematory, 2001 Columbus Avenue, in Sandusky.
