Monique Sanders, 41, Sandusky, loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, sister-in-law, and cousin unexpectedly departed this earthly existence, Sunday, November 19, 2017, at her residence.
She was born on August 31, 1976 in Erie, PA., to Patricia Warren and Clifford Reed. Monique was a 1995 graduate of Sandusky High School
Monique was employed by Whirlpool for 11 years and loved to cook, spending time with her family, and loved to dance, always being the life of the party. She was always there for you, whether it was a laugh, an encouraging word, or just an ear to listen. Speaking her mind made her who she was.
She is survived by her husband, Marcomb Sanders; daughter, Marleja Sanders; mother, Patricia Warren; sisters, Toshina Reed, Venaye (Eric) Stovall, Tunisha Young, Gloria Ross, Dedra Smith, and Brandy Coleman all of Sandusky; brothers, Monte Reed and Michael Graves both of Sandusky, DeShannon (Amber) Shaw and D'Andre Shaw, both of Columbus, OH; parents-in-law, Daniella and Joey Dillard; sister-in-law, Vanishia Starling, all of Detroit, MI; special nieces and nephews, De'Shyra, De'Vonte , Pooder, DeMorian, Jarrelle, Tre'Vonte and Brianna all of Sandusky; special aunt, Marlene (Lyndon) Wright; and a host of cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clifford Reed; sister, Charlisa; grandmother, Thelma Clinton, grandfather, Willie Clinton, Sr.; uncle, Willie Clinton, Jr.; special niece, DeShawna Wright.
Friends may call on Friday, December 1, 2017, from 10 A.M. until time of funeral services at 12 P.M. Noon in Mt. Zion Church of God in Christ, 1814 Second St., Sandusky. Elder Johnnie Cross will provide the eulogy. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
