Billy J. Roberts, 88, residing in Bellevue, passed away, Thursday, November 30, 2017, in Parkvue Healthcare Center, Sandusky.
He was born on November 8, 1929 in Red House, W.VA. to the late Ezra and Agnes (Tucker) Roberts. Billy served in the U.S. Marines.
He was employed by the Ford Motor Company in Sandusky, retiring in 1986.
He was a life member of the American Legion Post 0888 of Delaware, OH.
Billy is survived by step children, Chris Dillender, Norwalk, Roberta Tattrie, Youngstown, Robert Berdue Jr., and Theresa White both of Sandusky, and Michael Berdue, Bellevue; ten step grandchildren; twenty step great-grandchildren;
Sister, Pat McLane, Charleston, W.VA; several nieces, nephews, and his dog, Sir Billy.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Roberts in 2014; parents; step son, Roger Hemmer Sr.; siblings, Betty, Kate, Lee, Ruby, Judy, Stanley, and one in infancy.
At Billy's request no services will be held and cremation will take place.
Memorial contributions may be made to a Veterans Memorial.
