Cody M. Muñoz, 23, residing in Milan, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Fisher-Titus Medical Center.
Cody was born on March 6, 1994 in Norwalk, OH to Tony (Janice) Muñoz and Jennifer (Crawford) Colbert.
Cody graduated from Edison High School in 2012. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing basketball and spending time with his family and friends. Cody had a very generous heart and would do anything for his friends. Cody was known for his radiating, contagious smile and will be missed by all who knew him.
Cody is survived by his father, Tony (Janice) Muñoz of Sandusky; mother, Jennifer Colbert of Milan; daughter, Harper of Norwalk; sister, Brianna Muñoz of Kent; brother, Austin Muñoz of Sandusky; paternal grandmother, Carol Muñoz of Monroeville; maternal grandparents, Ted and Kathy Crawford of Milan and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives.
Cody is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Joel Muñoz, Sr.
Friends may call on Monday, December 11, 2017 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 11:00 am. Pastor Wally Gilbert will officiate. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
